It also performs well in our cooling tests, but we're not a fan of its gimmicky polygon handles and the bins that are crisper appear a bit fragile.
One thing that distinguishes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line, which lets you customize your fridge by removing colored panels which can be swapped whenever you get tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 colors that range from pastels to more vibrant hues. There are also four metallic finishes. Some of the panels can be customized by adding photos or text, making the fridge a personal touch point that will match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.
The LED lighting can be altered to a different color which is a nice feature. The interior of the refrigerator has a sleek finish that minimizes smudges, and makes cleaning easy. The only flaws that really bother the RF23M8090SG are its crowded beverage center, and a little learning curve to open the door-indoor feature, which houses a water dispenser and an ice maker. It is important to locate the lever that is located under of the door about halfway down. Once you find it the second door opens within the fridge, containing the pitcher docking station and the water dispenser.
